Today was a peaceful day. I worked today and as a Massage Therapist I find it soothing and relaxing. The earthly scents, the dreamy music, you just can't beat it. I focused on positive thoughts for most of the day. Whenever I saw something I liked, I would say I love it. I would take it that one step up from like to love. It's a way of training the subconscious mind. Napoleon Hill, famous author of the book Think and Grow Rich from the 1930's knew the Secret long before it became famous. He is quoted as saying "Thoughts become things." Boy is he right! So if thoughts become things, why waste your time on negative thoughts when you can spend that time manifesting wonderful things with positive thoughts? Whenever you feel yourself thinking something negative, AT ALL, stop yourself, just stop it. It's hard at first, I know. I've suffered from anxiety and depression for years so I can sympathize. But for every negative thought you have, stop thinking it, and create a positive one. Of anything! It doesn't matter! Your subconscious mind doesn't know or even care. It just knows the words you are saying and the feelings you are feeling and are manifesting them. It you're thinking "hate" then you are drawing back to you more hate. If you are thinking "I feel awesome right now" you are going to bring in more awesome feelings. Give it a shot! At first it doesn't feel like it's working but I'm here to tell you that it does and I haven't even been doing it that long!
I will leave you with this. Mentally list or write down all the things you love. At first you'll think "oh geez, I can probably just list this much" but as you go along you'll realize that you could probably fill a notebook! I'm talking about loving even the little things like apple pie, your cup of coffee, your favorite holiday, etc. Whatever you feel. I bet you'll feel happy after you do this. It can't hurt.
